Default So this one followed me home today

May or may not be a known car here--'03 that had a Ruf 550 conversion done by RAC in Dallas a few years ago.

Came from a guy who bought it on my recommendation three years ago. But he never drove it. Always figured I'd end up with it.

So it's destined to be a 3-4 day a week driver for commuting and running around now that I don't need to drive my truck for business all the time.

First Turbo with a Porsche serial number I've owned. First water cooled Porsche sports car, other than the odd 928 or 944/variants over the past 34 years. First 911 in years (decades?) that's got under 100K miles!

looks nice, great companion to the air-coolers
my father will be searching one soon too, after selling his mint 930 and riding/driving in my GT2 he won't be going for another air-cooled again, we miss the character and 'quality' of the older 930(et al.) but life's too short to be worrying about a garage queen...

Stalking me, Mr. Two-Posts-In-3.5 Years?

Tell you what, any time you're feeling nostalgic just drop off this car's replacement for a weekend swap.

So, here's earlier with the uneasy garage mates. (The 993 4S is getting mothballed into the backyard with a cover on it for the duration. It will likely emerge with the 3.8/regeared trans/Moton + no rubber suspension of the faux 993RS, and is destined to be left for use in AZ at a vacation home TBD.)
