Leaky Resevior. Concerns for me?

My info is Pentosin is harmful to rubber. Not sure what it does to electrical wiring insulation. The insulation might be ok.
When my Turbo's spoiler hydraulics leaked Pentosin I rinsed the wet areas with just plain water and afterwards I didn't see any signs of any paint or wiring damage.
All I can offer as advise is clean the wiring with water and some kind of detergent. The techs use Simple Green IIRC. Be sure you do not get any water where it should not be.
It might be a good idea to carefully inspect the harness *before* you start. If it looks like the harness insulation is compromised you may not want to douse the area with water, at least with the battery connected.
If the harness does appears compromised you might want to consult with a qualified tech first to see what to do. It could be the harness needs to be replaced.
Understand, I'm just being real conservative. But better this than to just blindly go ahead and douse the wiring with water and short out the car's electronics.
