Any good 2 part epoxy. Being you have all the pieces back together, use the epoxy over the super glue repair and then epoxy the washers. Think then you will have no more issues.give it good time to cure.

Make sure the surface is ultra clean! Otherwise it will separate!

I used black nylon washers and JB Weld on mine. That was about 14 months ago and no problems so far. Agree on getting the surface clean. I also scuffed the surfaces with 100 grit before applying the epoxy.

Nylon does not work very well 2 part epoxy. I would use metal washers.

LED s are supposed to be available early next year for the 996 turbo. I myself are on the waiting list for the first batch. Apparently going to list for $600 for a pair and look like 997 taillights. I'd hold out before replacing the oems with other oems. Ps my tabs are broken as well.
Here's the link. It's crazy long but the original poster says that they are Definetly being made so add yourself to the list.

The light savers are a great idea. Mine were still fully intact, but cracked. So I took my plastic soldering iron and welded it back together and also added material on the rear of the bracket. I then covered the lights and sprayed the brackets satin black, mine look good as new.

Tail light savers even work if there are a few pieces missing. I really like mine, they hide where I tried to epoxy the parts back together - which eventually failed again.
