plastic makes much more sense. Better thermal expansion match to the original taillight housing.

The new price has gone up a fair bit, $79.95 plus post is a bit of a leap, nearly hundred dollars to the UK plus import duty

thanks for including the recycle symbol as suggested. Still think plastic, reinforced with glass fibers - as suggested, is a better design. Mine took quite a bit of bending and fitting to get them just right and aligned. Metal won't "give" like the plastic does, I'd think it will crack or break the lenses, especially between hot and cold cycling. Best of luck!

Default Simple Lightsavers Install

Last last week I received my Lightsavers, just in time for a quick weekend project. Watched the video and read the directions in advance. All along I thought it would not be simple and I would encounter some twist.

After removing the black Duck tap (a good temp solution but irritating to know it's there) and removing the epoxy (an unsightly and ineffective solution), I installed both Lightsavers.

After the 30 minute "project" took it for a good spin. Came back and to check and all was good. Sunday was a lot of bouncing around town followed by a 50 mile jaunt.

Popped the engine lid and all was well.

I can now rest easy knowing that my tail lights will NOT be all over the road after meeting one of NYC's famous pot holes.

Thanks for doing a great job!

John Magrini
