Default What did you do to your 996TT today?

So I've been reading this thread on the 997 section, where folks are describing what they did to their 997's on a particular day. From just admiring the car in their garage after washing it to upgrades, mods, regular maintenance or an interesting/funny episode that happened with them and their cars.
I wanted to contribute too,only the problem is I don't own a 997,I own a 996TT.
So I was wondering, why not have something like that here?
Pics welcome.

Duplicate post in the 991 Turbo form, apologies for those that follow both!

-----
Took a short, in-town, back to back drive with the new and old Turbos. First time.

The 996 Turbo is pretty heavily tweaked, ~540 HP, manual, heavy GT2 clutch, stiff suspension, titanium catless exhaust, race seat, etc.

The 991 Turbo is (currently) bone stock....

Definitely a bit of Jekyll and Hyde! I love 'em both.

I'll start first:
I had a set of 4 Michelin PS 2's installed at the dealer and a much needed wheel alignment. All to the cost of 2K!
Ouch!

Installed new front rotors and pads - bedded them in on Sunday.

Brought to indy shop to find and repair a small power steering leak on Monday (car is still there!) <totally unrelated to brake job>

I've been a busy beaver,

- I exchanged my front PCCB rotors and pads for steel GT3 components.
- I added metal grills to the intakes of the front bumper as protection for the radiators

I rolled over to 33,333 miles just as I got home last night. 4k miles since early December.
Topped of the fuel tank and cleaned the massive bug guts off the front window. They sure do make a mess at high speed!

Washed the car past Sat, used a glass cleaner yesterday called Invisible Glass by Stoner. Used it for the first time, wow what a nice job with no streaking.! Trivial I know but hey you asked! LOL!

Flushed brake system, measured rotor and pad thickness. Ordered aluminum pedals. Washed and waxed.

Mine's just been sitting in the garage since Sunday. I get home tonight and looking forward to driving it tomorrow.

Drove to a Botanical Garden and was looking to the farthest most isolated parking spot available when the Parking Lot Security van showed up and asked me to park close to the entrance on the grass, next to a Corvette and telling me I can leave 10 feet of space between them!
Talk about privileges of having a Porsche.
Made me very happy!

I loaded driver side door box with 40 moods cigars for upcoming road trip to Germany. Difficult to find decent cigars in Deutchland.
