Default GT3 Seat INstallation question

I am in the process of begining the installation of GT3 and I have an initial question, with I am certain a few more to follow. First, will I need to replace the seat belt recepticles with different ones? Second what is the correct orienation of the block which the recepticle mounts to? I have the blocks and threaded posts, I do not have the spacers.

Thanks, Jeremy

The spacers are only sold as a part of the kit, part #13. 996.521.925.90 (inner) and 996.521.927.90 (outer). You need 2 of each for both seats. About $1000 for the set.

Thanks.
The problem I believe I am currently running into is not having enough side clearance between the bracket, recepticle and center console so that the rails line up with the mounting holes. I haven't had time to look at it closely yet, so I just wanst sure if I needed a longer recepitcle of if the turbo ones ahould work and theres something else going on.

The GT3 version has a longer seat belt receptacle cable and they aren't cheap.

The seat belt buckle will be low between the seat and console depending on your mounting setup so you need a solution. One is to buy the GT3 buckles. Another is to buy a seat belt extender. With my Sparco seats (similar issue) I made a bracket to raise up the seatbelt so I was able to use the 996 buckles.

My technical English isnt quite up to date, but I don't see any problem with the receptacles.

I just transfered the ones from my standard heated seats
(need to loosen the cable plug connector from the drivers side receptacle in order to get it out of the turbo seat)

This is how they sit in the car:

Thanks for the info. When I have a moment, I’ll take a look at it again.

Look up my DIY on this forum for how to install them. You either need those blocks that John linked to, or you can buy the Brey Krause side plates specifically for Euro GT3 seats. They've got a spot to bolt your seat belt receptacle to built into them.

The stock seat belt buckles are 100% fine. No need to reinvent the wheel there.

So I can get the front holes to line up on both seats, but the rear holes are way off. Are the factory gt3 sliders left and right specific or interchangeable? Wondering if that is the cause.
