No...Sanity prevailed (rare these days, I know) and I sent it over to the pro's at Cervelli Technical Services.

Internet searches might still point you to the old shop and/or black canyon performance. New shop is HERE:

Wow, not so close! That's a hell of an Uber charge to get back home.

Could you please post the parts required for the GT2 conversion?

Thank you!

Not an expert, but this is my understanding:

To do it in the factory GT2 style, as opposed to some of the aftermarket brackets that are sometimes used... Required parts in bold
  • Remove the transmission, drill and tap for the GT2 slave cylinder which mounts in a different location.
  • Swap to the GT2 clutch fork which is kind of a mirror image of the Turbo fork.
  • Replace the clutch line
  • Thoroughly clean and reuse the original master cylinder and reservoir.
  • Replace the reservoir cap with one that isn't designated pentosin.
  • Swap in the GT2 clutch pedal spring.
  • Modify the power steering pump to eliminate the pressure lines that originally were used for the assisted clutch.
  • Toss the accumulator.
  • Fill and bleed with SRF
I don't have the part numbers handy, but will update with them if possible.

Curious to feel the pedal effort once you've gotten the car back Paul.

Huge improvement over the boring stock twists...they look good. Apex did a photo shoot with my car but I never pulled the trigger on a set. I am going with another brand/mfg but the same 10 spoke design. I think that design looks great on the 911.
