Yes, there are access and privilege differences, but I don't know all of the details. If you are interested in all of the differences between a member and a user, I can try and find that out.
For example, a user will not see the Off Topic and/or Politics and Controversy Forum, as this is only seen/accessible by paying members
BTW, no, you're not missing anything, trust me.

Nearly 250K miles on your Turbo? And driving in/around Switzerland no less. You lucky so and so! Here's hoping you get another 250K fun miles out of the car.
Sincerely,
Macster.

Pierres had a heart transplant at 135k miles right?
T2, I'm thinking you should just e-mail me the pictures and I'll post them for you. Everyone wants to see the 342k mile Turbo. I just want to see the odometer, really struggling with the original clutch thing. Are you sure it's not just memory lapse?

ohioboxster,
No memory lapse at all - in fact we had the engine and tranny down at 173,000 and I helped pull the tranny off the engine to inspect the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. At that time we replaced both bearings and also the rear main seal. The tech called me the next day with the information that a new stock clutch is 1.8mm thick, my stock clutch with all those miles was 1.7mm thick. The fingers on the pressure plate were all fine, the springs and retainers in the clutch were all fine and the flywheel looked perfect minus 1 or 2 minor discolorations that were a 1/4" or smaller in diameter.
Needless to say my request was to put all it all back in and see what a stock clutch actually can do for mileage. I've not touched it since. Well we did a couple slaves and an accumulator but nothing internal.
I'll get pictures to you shortly.
