Shipping out of EU allows the shipper to skip the VAT.

I've never been billed for post-purchase taxes of any kind.

It's not VAT you will pay. It's the FedEx charge for paying your import duty. FedEx send you a bill for that shortly after delivery.

Not sure if Rennlist allows, but could you give me the link so I can bookmark it? I tried searching Sonnen's site but I keep coming up empty...

pm sent.... Go Kevin's route as using their web page usually results in extreme shipping cost based on purchase value not actual shipping cost.

What's with all the "website" stuff?!?!?

Just call people and ask. If one Porsche dealer can get it, ALL can get it..so limiting choices to a dealer that has created a pricing page of the X73 suspension is potentially avoiding someone willing to give you a good price over the phone.

Agreed. I use the websites to check on pricing so I have some data and a reference point before I go to my preferred dealer. Almost every time my dealer will give me a better price as they've set me up in their computer for a permanent discount. And those few times the pricing isn't better I'll still buy because I value the relationship and all the other benefits it provides.

The "website stuff" is because I wondered if X73 was still available, and if so, it's also good to know (ballpark) what it's selling for. I didn't want to take up dealership time/resources at this point, as I'm not looking to purchase a kit imminently... but plan to within the next year.

Thanks again to those who posted their experience - sanyata, thanks for the PM... didn't have the P/N before, now I do!

Hi,

Am a new member here and was searching info about the X73 suspension. I got myself a 2003 X50 a while ago and want to know if I have this option.

It seems (to my Eye that is) like my car is lower then most 996tt´s Ive seen and I was wondering, if my car has this setup?

Thing is, I have the spec list of the car but X73 isn´t listed. I searched for more info and came across a site where a guy posted in some other forum that he ordered is 996tt back then with the X73 suspension but when he got the spec list, the X73 wasn´t listed.

How do I find out if my car has it or not?

See the pics in this thread post. Compare what you have on your car to these. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turb...l#post10115219

Does anyone have a collection of X73 and/or M030 parts numbers? Looking for specific numbers on the springs and the shocks -- all 6 numbers... I have some resources in Germany to find this stuff

Great find. I see the rear springs as 996.333.980.12 and spring support as 996.333.980.18

Nothing on the rear shocks or anything on the front setup... Looks like there are a lot of parts involved. I can probably use the spring part numbers to identify what the rest is, as long as I know it all came off the same car... will check this against used suspension parts in Europe.

EDIT: Looks like the parts I found are not X73 - likely M030. Post #35 seems to have the correct X73 numbers.

Still researching...

Yes, it was a lucky find. I bought it as soon as I found it and have been extremely pleased with it's performance.
Best of luck in your search.
