Default FOR TRADE: Hollow spoke 996TT-s for 996TT

Gentlemen and ladies, my car came with hollow spoke 996 Twin Turbo S wheels. They are in absolutely perfect shape.

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in swapping their standard 996TT wheels for the S version.

I like the standard silver over the more gun metal color.

I will only accept the trade if the wheels are in perfect or nearly perfect shape.

Thanks

I'd be willing to do so, but mine are the polished wheels. If you're interested, let me know.

Nice car! Mine came with the gun metal grey ones too. Everyone needs two sets of wheels (one for the track), so I bought a set of 4 near perfect "brights" on ebay for about one sixth what a new set would cost. I think you'll find, after dealing with tires mouned on eight wheels and paying shipping for both sets, that's easier that pulling off a swap.

My gun metal ones had a few flaws, so they get the track tires.

Those look great. Is that gun metal color a factory option? If not, what paint is used?

Thanks

Yes, the slightly darker silver is a factory paint. It came standard on 996 Turbo S models

Yup, I was told Turbo S wheels were painted GT Silver Metallic from the factory.

I just had mine refinished and painted that color.
