Default Porsche car audio

Is anyone able to direct me to a website that details Porsche factory car audio options? I've just bought a 2001 996TT and am keen to know what options are/were available.

cheers

Start with Audioinnovations.com or Reusaudio.com. Don't know where you are but they are both located in Cali

Try and do a google search for a Porsche ORDER GUIDE. (I have 2003 and 2004, not 2001)

this will detail all the possible option codes, including audio options. You are seeking 'stock' or "Porsche Original" configurations, right? No vendor or installer will really give you much help with that. Dealers barely know how to service it, forget about asking "what was available in 2001"

Hey thanks Adam_ and Onetime ... very helpful. I'm in Perth, Western Australia so don't know if I can justify the trip over to Cali just for car audio but hey, I'm sure I can find another reason if I try hard enough!

cheers

The guys at audio innovations ship their stuff everywhere. In fact because they are Porsche audio specialists most of their business is done through shipping.

Kab: There's a top-of-the-line shop in Rocklin or Roseville (CA) that specializes in high end installations.....I went and talked to the owner over a year ago...they have just about every iteration of anything you'd want to do...This is the Audio Innovations shop....IIRC.

I believe this is where they're located:

212 Harding Blvd # H
Roseville, CA 95678
(916) 780-9450

They've been written up in a few magazine articles....but if you want it done and done right...I think they're your folks.

Havent' heard from you for a while...hope all is well. Do you still have the cab?

The factory stuff is second rate. Don't waste your time or money on it. Get a Pioneer of Kenwood double din. Better sound, better Nav, full ipon and bluetooth....all for way less money.
