swapping big reds to other cars
Does anyone know if the stock big red turbo brakes will fit any other cars besides c4s? Porsche or any ohter makes that these brakes will fit?

lots of cars actually...usually within the VAG group.
Audi guys use em all the time...and a determined VW owner could probably jerry rig something.
a guy with an eagle talon was using cayenne rear brakes as his fronts or something...its just a matter of making brackets and clearence.
AUDI's are the most popular cars outside of putting them on other porsches.
oh...which reminds me, the bigreds will fit a lot of other 996/993's as i recall.

They won't fit the standard Boxster/Carrera because the caliper bolt spacing is 140mm and the "normal" brakes are 130mm bolt spacing. There is not enough space to adapt. Changing out the wheel carriers, etc., is cost prohibitive. The rears might work on some other Porsches since the rears are pretty standard 130mm axially, but the buyer may run into other offset problems as well, and there is not much market for this without the fronts. The brakes are probably best sold on other VAG cars that use side mount bolts (not axial) which can be more easily adapted.
