OBD2 port reading/ping
So i went to go buy a n OBD2 reader, because i got the code again, after getting it deleted by the dealer, and the same fraken code!
The car pings under full acceleration...if i let off a bit it dosent ping as much..

bad plug in cylinder 2 ?
I had the plus replace 3,000 miles ago... can't be that

You need to check your work order.. Don't assume that you got new plugs..
You also need to check if you have a hose that has come off. Any of your Bypass Valve hoses will trip this.

I took it in because it was pinging under WOT. I asked them to change the plugs and do the 30k service while they were at it. I told them to install the updated plugs..but 2500 miles into it, its pinging again...

is this stuff cover under warranty ? i'm taking it to the stealership monday morning... my SA already hates me as it is... because i go in and tell him whats wrong and my buddys on the 'internet' helped me..and he goes on saying im full of shizzz and it turns out i'm always right LOL!

Once they recognize the aftermarket program, I'd suspect that all hopes of warranty coverage die, like a grasshopper in a fire. Probably correctly so, as one would suspect that malfunction of any factory-engineered component could be hastened by alteration of intended mixtures, ratios, limits or loads. Let us know. AS
