Default Same shifter new price

Folks,

All items sold to Rennlist people so far except the shifter. I appreciate all the buyers.

I found today I am asking too much for the shifter assembly, 996 424 983 00 and so I am reducing the price to $375 delivered to the buyer. It was used only 700 miles and is as new.

From the dealer these assemblies are $461 plus tax, list I'm told is $488 plus tax. So about $100 off for mine, at your door.

I had indicated $600 new and I thought that was the correct list when I bought mine. Either the price went down as the 997 uses a different housing or I was just wrong. I am old, so some things must be overlooked.

That item does used to list at $622 and change but was superseded and it now lists at the $488. New part number is 997 424 983 00.

Default Thanks to everyone

Thanks for verifying for me I haven't lost all my mind.

Thank you Dennis for purchasing the short shifter! Enjoy.

Thanks Rennlist. The best car enthusiast are on this board and I have looked at others and participated in several. But the people here are knowledgeable, fair and honest. I shipped most stuff without confirmation of payment as I have never heard of Rennlist person that did honor their word.

Well I am not in a Porsche, and despite an unhappy situation for me, I can't knock the cars. Love em and I won't say never again. However, it will be long enough the good people here will put the stuff sold to better use than on my garage shelf.

I will still watch and participate when I can help. After several years and 4 different models, 993, 996, 996 C4S, and 996TT I know a little that could assist someone. If you see an older bald guy in a bright yellow NSX with yellow interior in Dallas, with a smile, you can wave. It's a Porsche guy.
