Post Tip Upgrades

I have checked out a few changes I am considering and it seems like things I am considering are not available for the Tip. My dealer called and said he had a set of ROW springs and then called back to say they would not fit a Tip, also the Bailey D V s are only listed for the 6 speed. Could someone please set me straight (not about buying a Tip ) but about way these or other mods do not work in a Tip.
Thanks in advance

I Have a 02 996tt Tip as well.I have installed Bailey D.valves and a Ruf exhaust. No Problem.I would think the only difference with the Tip is any work with the Transmission or DME.

surf,

How much did the bailey and exhaust help ?

I have an 01 TT with Tip that I have taken to the track. Stock except H&R lowering springs, R compund tires, and harnesses...

Norm,
The Ruf exhaust besides the great sound with no resonance gives a bit more torque. The Bailey valves brought the boost on much quicker and seems to maintain it longer.Of course with out that honking sound from the plastic stock valves.
