Post hotrodding x50

Hi Guys, my x50 just left before the strike so it should be here in June. I had the brain remapped to .9 bar in one of my 996tt's [a stick] and it supposedly was 450-470 hp. What boost does your x50's max at? is it .9 bar, or .7 bar like a regular 996 turbo? I'm wondering if i can remap my x50 brain in a similar fashion...
THanks. watt

Hey All,
Those of you who have "chipped" their engines ...
Have there been any adverse consequenses to doing this? Reliability issues etc.? I talked with my dealer yesterday about changing the chip and he told me that there have been problems with the smaller turbos, as he called them, overheating and "melting down". He said that if you upgraded the turbos to KKK's then chipping would give a better result and lessen the chance of a problem. Any truth to that?

Chad is correct the X50 comes from the factory with the boost tuned to .09 Bar. <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" />
