Differences between 996 TT wheels and 993 TT wheels?

Hi Everybody...

Does anybody know the differences between these wheels, in terms of weight and strength?

Also, will 996 TT wheels fit a 993 TT? Did they change the offsets or rim size for these models? I'm considering getting an extra set of 996TT wheels for the track for my 993 TT.

Easy to check offset - but I have not done it. I know if you go for the hollow spoke version of the 996 wheel you will pay $$$$. Rears are about $1200 apiece. I asked after a slight brush with a curb.

I had 996turbo wheels on my old 993turbo and they fit fine.
