I live in LA, no way to avoid it (even my building has them)....Just trying to find something that will avoid scuffing/bumps. Is clear bra tough enough for that?

Regardless whether it's 6mil, 8mil, 10mil Scotchcal, Venture, Llumar or whatever....no clear poly will protect from a hard knock of the chin on some pavement.
Even Speedlingerie gets ripped up easy if it takes just one hit.
Unless I'm totally missing it and the valets are taking her out for some high speed motoring behind gravel trucks.

Yep that's the problem, after I sell my S4 this will be my only car (hey single guy). I noticed a scratch on top of the nose the other day, some idiot must have slid it under a bumper. I may have to go the lingerie route. Thanks for the advice.

I still do not understand why you use the valets if they do this to your car? Are you just asking for trouble. Refuse to let the valets park the car, show them pictures of damage they have caused, park the car yourself in the valet area (if they require this), tip them. I have yet to have a valet refuse to let me park my own car.
