Happy to hear it worked out ! Worst case if it acts up you can send it down this a way to ecu doctors ( a couple of local folks just used them and had excellent feedback) and they will get you up and running. I know they also sell some sort of waterproof housing for the alarm modules that I was considering but got side tracked so I’ll have to go look that up now.!

Sounds like it was from rain bypassing the sunroof drains, not flooding.

Glad to hear this turned out well for you!
Are there any posts or tips on checking and cleaning the various water drains?

One of the tricky ones is the rear drain. I believe the check valve that can capture leaves and gunk is behind the fender well panel, correct?

The ones in the frunk are easy to get to and vacuum out. If they back up, the water can run into your cabin.

The biggest issue I found with my cayenne is the drain tubes slide into one another. Even cleared, a good amount of volume backs up into the drains and can leak where the tubes are slipped into one another. I removed them all and re-glued the connections. My truck is bone dry. I have to do the 911 next.

I got the car running fine, but the locks still don't work. I am going to try one more fix, but I'm afraid I will have to send my ECU/immobilizer out to be redone.

I spoke to ECU Drs earlier. Apparently, the new Porsches uses the same location for the body control modules and have the same issue. It's a terrible place for something so important.
