Agreed - if you want a 997 - sell your car and buy a 997. To me - it's one of the unique features of the car and it works so well with the wider body. Just wash the car a few times to appreciate how well they integrate with the overall design. It's sort of like dating Cindy Crawford and telling her to cover her mole -

I always felt the cover ups looked odd from this angle:

I agree with the above sentiment, especially Dave's photo. It just doesn't look right. However, Tomac's execution is the best I have seen so far. It almost looks natural and not forced like other products. Maybe include the space along the bottom to get rid of the white outline along the bumper. Fold the wrap under the light housing.

They all look just plain bad.
Cheap looking after thoughts.

If u want cool looking headlights u must paint the interior housings flat black & get rid of pop up washer .

I'm curious, how do you actually remove the pop-up washer? Your setup looks really clean, well done.

The pop up washer can be removed internally.
The 996 GT3 RSR lenses have no hole for washer.
U take the chrome pop up washer cover & paint it flat black them glue it over the pop up hole inside the housing

They're discussing it on Facebook. Looks like they're not available yet for our cars but they are for others.

this was a quick 1st attempt to see how it would look. The plan is to remove the headlights and wrap the edges and more of the lights in general.
there was also talk of maybe painting, which I’d rather not do, even thought they are bit weathered and could probably use replacing

But I also like non-oval headlights on Porsches, as well.

The lenses aren't available anymore which is a shame. I love the shape of the headlights, I just don't like the washer...it breaks up the smoothness of the lens.
