Default 2005 Turbo S cab manual roof raising.

Cannot get roof up! I do not have the manual and the procedure is a little different than what I found on the web! I cannot find the pressure relief valve for the hydraulics so I can pull the roof up manually. Does anyone have the manual and can take pics of it for me?

The BLUE arrow pressure relief valve is not there on my Turbo S!

What are your symptoms? I had this happen the other day and it was because the passenger side flap would not begin its rotation therefore the top hydraulics would not get the "all clear" signal from the flap microswitch. The rear clam shell would retract but that was it. I simultaneously depressed the top control switch and merely tapped on the flap with my finger.....it instantly rotated out of the way and the top went up. About 10 cycles since then with no problems.......hope that makes sense.

MUCH bigger than that. The ignition switch, the car won't start, battery drain from somewhere, then the windows went partially down and we had torrential rain. I tried to put the top down to help dry out rear seat and floor and it's stuck partway down. NO movement at all. I am hoping new ignition switch fixes things but have my doubts. I have a car cover on it now

Thanks but they must of changed something in 2005. There is no release valve where on page 1.15 G does not exist! so it must be somewhere else.

Not sure what you mean by release valve. That PDF is from the training manuals and applies to all 996 and 997 cab tops. When I have done this on my 2004, there was no "release valve"?

Aha! The first pdf looks to be regular(non-turbo) 911, the later pics show the intercooler intake opening, I'm betting '04 & '05 TURBOS are the same.
