Gig Harbor is really nice, we have looked at a couple of places there- our top spot for escape from King County as well. Im not in a bad area, but it is close enough that some stuff spills over from time to time. Property crime is way way way up in my neighborhood.

Anyway, very cool build on the 996 and the Cayenne. There are some other 996TT guys down in Gig Harbor area I've met over the years. Having Dundon and Spec German in the neighborhood seems to foster a strong Porsche community in that area.

Who will you use in the neighborhood for some dyno runs?

Yeah I need to get on that don't I

I found who bought the Mainline I used to use so Im leaning towards them - they're in Tacoma (not far from Gig Harbor). Dundon has a really nice dyno setup as well, but they don't really do rentals is my understanding.

I went to PIA in Tacoma for the Sti, they didn't want to put the turbo on the rollers, but I'd be curious (in the spring) to know where you go, I'd like to do a few baseline runs.

Carb Connection does a few different dyno days a year with Avants and they have awd rollers. Drift Office also has an AWD dyno that's popular as well.

Great read. Some great ideas too!

I have been wanting to remove the front grills. Like what you did. Also the back bumper.
