Default Hydraulic ram question
I noticed my rams on both sides have the number 20216 engraved on them. Is this from the factory or should I suspect that these have been replaced?

Number is not from the factory. Those look like they have been rebuilt.

Mine do not have that. Either rebuilt as Carlo said of maybe bought from a parts yard and they tagged it.

Probably inventory markings from a salvage yard.

Paint damage possible oil seepage along shroud and missing end cap are other clues. They’ve been tossed around a bit.
