I checked the fuses in the fuse box they are fine. I just read that there should be a fuse on the amplifier it's self, I'll have to pull that and check it as well. Thanks!

I have a few emails out to repair places for quotes on getting my amplifier repaired. Once I hear back from them I'll let you know. Thanks!

Yes, fuse on the amp itself. It is known to become corroded and cause issues.

I just pulled the amplifier and don't see any fuses on it externally. Do I need to open it up to get to the fuse? The good news is that I have a solid red light coming from my fiber optic cable so that I think confirms the problem is with the amplifier.

The amp in my car is different, there is an external fuse on the the panel were the wire connectors plug in. On yours it might be inside.

I just pulled mine out for a dedicated alpine unit. It was working fine but I wanted carplay. I'll get a picture tonight when I get home and post it. If it matches I could let it go.

Mine was bypassed when my CarPlay-enabled touchscreen was installed. It's dead weight in the frunk. I'll check on it. Was working fine when bypassed.

Ok, so I have now bought two different factory Bose amplifiers and still no sound at all. One of the amplifiers was untested and the other one was working when bypassed at some point in the past. While the amplifiers on these Bose systems does seem like a week point, it seems unlikely to me that both of the amplifiers I tried were both bad. I have tried putting a fiberoptic loop in place of the CD changer to see if the changer could possibly be the problem, still nothing. I get no sound at all, not even a pop or crackle. Everything on the head unit appears to be working, it searches for and tunes to radio stations, it displays the name of the radio station, it plays CDs and even the navigation appears to work just no sound at all. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them, I much prefer the looks of a factory system over an aftermarket system. Thanks!
