Default 996 under body pictures

When I was looking for my 996, it was tough to find some under body pictures. I wanted to post a few for the group as well as newer members searching for a car. I had my 03 996tt on a lift and took a few pictures. It would be great if others would post a few as well. Thanks

Your underside is pretty clean - mine was high sided and required new under body panels.

Looking good!

From the rule book modification are fine as long as it’s done in a tasteful way. Rules vary from zone to zone. Zone 8 pca scores mainly on finish and cleanliness

Not sure, I don’t think I have had any deductions because of the finish. The finish is the natural polished patina over time from almost day one. I’m not a fan of the cosmolene I always remove it as it’s the first thing I do once I take delivery. Once it becomes etched into the alloys it becomes impossible to regain the true alloy finish Porsche has discontinued this practice.

People who remove the cosmoline must not use the car in any sort of inclement weather. Sure it's ugly, but it works. I can't imagine the upkeep in polishing the hard lines underneath. Looks sick, but not very practical.
