Default What's X73 worth these days? Thinking of going coilover setup.

So I'm considering going to a coilover setup but curious what the X73 suspension setup on the car is worth if I try to sell it. Not sure of the total miles on them. Previous owner put them on around ~52k miles and I have 77k on the car now. No leaks, everything looks and feels good. Thanks!

My guess is that there are people who would pay you nicely for the X73 suspension.

Back in 2004 I paid $2,500 for a new X73 suspension. That package also included stiffer motor mounts.

I think you could get $1,500 to $1,800.

Wouldn't that mean "used" springs and dampers?

If so, I'd give serious consideration before installing used "wear" items like those.

Hmm, depends. The shocks aren't serviceable and that might affect your resale value more than anything.

Generally I say used parts are worth half the cost of new and adjust based on condition from there

Thanks for the info everyone. The reason I asked because I'm in the process of adding some monoball inserts to the top hats and have the suspension out. It feels pretty good on the road so I am going to run this setup for a bit and maybe later this summer I'll transition to a coilover setup. At least I know a ballpark of what the X73 might go for used. Thanks again!
