Default Anyone know the previous owner(s) or history of this car

Looking for a replacement 996tt. This one needs a clutch but price is not bad. Too bad someone went crazy with the alcantara, but depending on the other mods and history, I can live with it. Anyone know the history of this car:

Thanks

Just looking at the ad, seems like a pretty decent deal at a $36,500 ask for a 74k mile car. I agree that the alcantara on the dash is a bit much, but I've seen much worse interior mods. What's the "CR" sticker on the fender behind the left front wheel? Between the alcantara dash and that sticker and being a relatively rare color, I would think someone from Chicago might recognize the car.

Bigger question is how would you get that off the dash? If you wanted to remove it.

Seems like a really solid deal. Did you talk to them and they say it needs a clutch? I didn't see it in the ad but may have missed it. You could pay more and it need a clutch in the next 5-10K miles so knowing it is done by you is a win IMO

Great color, and it looks like whoever owned it in the past had some money to throw into it so hopefully it's been well maintained. Get a PPI and pull the trigger!
Good luck

Heck of a price- get that PPI as others suggest, but it could be a good deal. Factoring in clutch/pin/2nd gear pop it all adds up fast so do your due diligence.
