WANTED: 996 Turbo Coilovers

Hi,

I'm looking for a set of coilovers for a 996 Turbo.

I'm in SoCal, 90275.

theres a guy on the facebook 996 turbo private page that contacted fortune auto and got a great deal on a set of 510 coilovers for a group buy. under 2200$ for a complete set. might look there

Good luck in your search, I looked religiously on the forums, ebay, and facebook for 6 months before giving up and buying ohlins. Super happy with them, wish I did it sooner. Fortune at 2200 seems pretty decent. If I were you I'd just cough up the dough and do it right the first time.

Just the fronts are. That's another $400 for the rears to be rebuilt. That get's you to $1,850.

For that you get new:

Or you can get fortune auto 500s which I feel are superior to h&rs brand new for about 1600.

Those parts look a little too similar to the $850 coilovers on ebay.

Lol, dont judge a book by its cover. Fortune is a legit US company that makes quality suspensions. You should really do some research before making such a big purchase for your car. But hey it's your money.

those look quite nice, still $2600 for our cars but on par with PSS10 pricing.

thats the retail. the guy on f/b had them down under 2200 if there was a group buy interest. and pss10 dont give you top hats and the ability to specify what spring rates you want

Pss9s on 6spd

I'm very careful when buying suspension used. I've done it a few times, either the items were basically new, with little to no use and they looked it, or the price was so low that I could send them in to be rebuilt and still save a substantial amount of money.

If neither of those two things are the case, then it's a hard pass on buying it used and I pay for brand new. In addition to not worrying about the condition of the items, then you also get the warranty.
