Mine went for close to 140k miles (mostly highway cruise) before needed a new clutch.

Cost me something similar here in New Hampshire.

I am currently in the Seattle metro area
thanks for the input

i am a little bummed that clutch is failing- I was going to take it up to whistler tomorrow- oh well I will take the land cruiser and deal with the repair in the next few weeks- I am surprised how it went from no slipping to really bad overnight- it has had an annoying vibration when releasing the clutch from a dead stop for a while

It deteriorated pretty quickly for me, too, also around 40k miles. When they opened it up they found a cracked pressure plate, I'd be curious to hear if you have that, too.

A cracked pressure plate will give you that low RPM shake. I caution folks.. I have seen three T/O bearing fork/shaft Bellhousing failures in 2018. The bellhousing mounts just break. It is my "opinion" that the cracked pressure plates induce vibration which contributes to this expensive failure.

I'm in Seattle too.
PM me if you want some help here.
The while you're in there list can get insane/insane.
Depending upon your direction with the car, the parts you choose and the "while you're in there" will always give you benefit down the road. Whether or not you're driving it or someone else, eventually rubber stuff has to be replaced.

forgive me, but a DMFW alone is $800.00 Minimum. i'm ok with the 8 hours bit though lol

though only necessary ( provided all else is within "spec" ) item when swapping a clutch is the RMS. many neglect to change it, and it's staring you in the face once trans is dropped. essentially it's just a LARGE rubber "o ring", prone to "eventually" fail so not worth NOT swapping same time.
