Default ABS Module

Hi Guys,

Looking for a replacement ABS Module for my ‘02 Turbo. Who’s got one?

Thanks!
Joe

It’s my understanding that a used module will not work and you need a new one.

ABS/PSM?

Yes, ABS/PSM. It looks as though you can use the hydraulic pump side of a used unit as a doner to attach to the existing ecu side. In fact, success stories have shown that it can be done with a non-Turbo module as long as the doner unit has PSM.

I suffered through that error code for 18 months. I changed a speed sensor, brake sensor and was ready to go for a new module. Then I took the advice of guys on the board and changed the wiring harness for $82. Bingo....goodbye ABS/PSM.

I almost didn’t try changing the wiring harness because my car has not been lowered. Logically it just didn’t make sense. Sure glad I did. FYI, I’m not a mechanic and I did it myself in 2 hours.

That would be nice! Unfortunately my valve block is leaking from a failed valve.

Contact bba remanufacturing, I believe they can rebuild it for you.

Thanks - sent them an email. I ended up purchasing a unit, 996.355.755.63. BUT if BBA can rebuild I’ll send my broken module so it’s available for some other poor soul!
