Had oem on my c4s and now Yakima towers and bars on my tt. I maybe alone on the camp for aftermarket. It’s sleeker and more universal. Towers fit just as well on the roof mount points. More importantly it’s quiter than oem with sunroof open.

With Yakima towers one huge advantage is you can get different length bars to fit your needs. With oem, effective usable length is inside the towers, limited. With Yakima, you get wider and mount more things on them. May not be an issue for you if you need just one bike tray.
