Ok so I am the new guy that had no idea the Bilstein rear shocks have not been made in a year. What is the alternative without spending Thousands more?

Sent an email. How long have these shocks been out of stock? other options? I already have the front B8's, H & R springs and top mount for front and rear.

I called Bilstein recently since I too have the H&R springs and top mounts with front B8s ready to install. They say it will be back in stock late February. I actually am thinking of just installing the front and keeping the rear oem shock for a few months in the meantime.

I’m looking into upgrading my suspension and my local race shop recommended the PSS10s but said they have been out of stock for a year with no availability in sight. He also recommended the KW V3s so it looks like I will be going with those.

I have the PSS10's (were on the car when I bought it) and I'm very happy with them, but the forum recommendation seems to be the Ohlins R&T: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turb...in-shocks.html

The Ohlins were my first choice based on the threads here but the shop wasn’t comfortable recommending them, to my surprise, based on some previous experiences with leaking. I realize that’s anecdotal and ymmv but I decided to go with his recommendation since he will be installing and servicing them, and has had positive experience with the other brands with racing and hpdes. I was really hoping he was more optimistic on the Ohlins since those seem to be an overall favorite.

I'll never buy KW's again after the truly horrendous experience I had with a set of V3's on an old Audi S4 of mine
