so I've been hunting down as much information about my car as possible. previous owner gave me a pdf spread sheet for maintenance and mods. he had the turbos listed as k16/24 zero clearance turbos. no manufacturer. so i looked through countless threads to find all previous owners and eventually found the information i needed.

speed gallery is the name of the company, which just "rebuilds the turbo with a larger compressor wheel."

everything I've read about them was positive... only issue is that i think its antiquated tech. they have umw waste gates on them.

do any of our seasoned residents have any experience or knowledge they would mind spreading to me to put my curiosity at rest?

I have Speed Gallery's 16/24's on my car and they've been flawless for 10 years. I'd swear by them AND Dan Aspisi's work. It's his shop.

Pretty sure he still holds the track record for a gt2 at willow. He knows his **** and you can buy with confidence.

i have them on the car now, i just haven't heard much about them or i can't find anything in recent posts.

wel, they may be old but they aren't any more "antiquated" tech than the car itself is. if anything? they're an improvement over either oem k16 OR oem k24's. also, as far as i know.. ALL 16/24's are considered "hybrids" whether UMW's or Speed Gallery's or whomever. they are just a bigger comp wheel in the housing.

but i hear ya, i cant find a recent TOPIC about these cars that's "new" lol. cheers.
