Default inner & outer axle boot replacement cost

What should I be looking at for the replacement of the boots if I get them done alone and along with the replacement of shocks, struts and springs?

Just the four boots should be around $400-600. If you add rebuilding and re-greasing of the joints add another $600ish. Might as well do the rear wheel bearings, add another $600ish. But prices can vary widely by location.

Does that help?

Dealer quoted me both sides torn CV boots for $1,626. Not gonna happen. Will do it myself.

couple hours per axle tops(maybe 1 hour if you're in the good books and they're already in there for suspension), boots are cheap and believe they still come with CV grease in the package too-if not grease is cheap.

Thanks for the info guys. I need t o find a more reasonable mechanic. I was quoted $1800 to replace struts, shocks and do front boots with alignment. 4 hours to swap oem exhaust to speedtech 2.5. I don't mind paying $140 per hour but not if the hours are going to double.

No. Exhaust was an additional 4 hours of labor.

I recall swapping out my exhaust in about 2.5 hours. That was one of the 1st mods done, and I took my time. Have a lift, so it was fairly easy, no need to remove the bumper.
I did see a video recently where it took a shop a day to swap out due to a frozen/stripped bolt, seemed odd as they could have cut it easily.
