Default Silly question about gages

sorry if this has been asked before, but on some turbo models why do some of the light colored gages say turbo and the black ones don’t? Was this an option or am I missing something?

I thought the script only showed up on later years, a la 2003+ (both on the black and optional aluminum gauge faces).

Ok makes sense. I guess I was just thinking sensibly that if you bought a turbo your gages would say that, but I have noticed that some do and some don’t but didn’t pay much attention to the years.

I think the script turbo may be on only MY 2004. I have a 2003 sans script.

Most Of the 2004 had Turbo on gauge that I saw it seems to me like 2002 and 03 have Turbo on shifter handle on manual gear box , and 2001 had turbo on the carpet on some in back like gt3 , but not sure if all 01 s had it. My 03 has turbo on shifter.

The stock shifter handle on my '02 Turbo does not have "turbo" script on it.

My stock shifter is leather, plastic and aluminum colored material (I don't know it is actually aluminum. I think it may be aluminum colored plastic).
