Installing after market PDC or the OEM Porsche.
Installing after market PDC or the OEM Porsche.
Is it possible to install the OEM PDC in my Porsche 996 Turbo that didn't have that Option when it rolled out New in Germany 2002.
OEM: Sensors, Cables, Box-unit. Can I use this, just " Plug and Play" ?
I'm going to install a IPad mini, anybody know any Cool Apps and hardware PDC Aftermarket product that I can install?
If so, shoot a link or Pictures.

But I would not do it again today. In fact I did not do it on my replacement 996 Turbo. Aftermarket Carplay head units are just a much more integrated solution with more functionality at a lower price. Most carplay head units also have a rear camera feed built right in solving your parking sensor issue as well.
Here is the thread from when I used a mini: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-996-mkii.html
On the Turbo, I use my iPhone X max mag-mounted and a Sony Sony XAV-AX100 (replaced by the Sony XAV-AX210) and it is pretty great combo.

I wish I didn't love the look of the single DIN and GT3 center console delete so much. Carplay + backup camera would sure be nice.
