Goodluck with the sale. It looks like 10 years ago you were trying to sell the car for $70K? This is a solid car with great history for someone that is looking for a X50 Tippy.

K4site,
Good luck with your sale. I've had my 03 turbo tip with 19K miles in very near mint condition up for sale in PHX for 6 weeks at 55K asking and I did not get a sniff. If it were not a tip, I could get north of 60K. I'm going to wait until Barrett Jackson is in town in January and give it another go. The X50 will make it more interesting and desirable.

Tips do seem to do better at in-person auctions.

The Tip trans in the 997TT is the same as the 996TT. The TCUs are different. A 996TT TCU can be tuned to shift just as fast as the 997TT unit.

996TT prices were stagnate for almost ten years. As were 930 prices. 997TT prices, especially the Mezger engined, will start to rise soon enough.

The 997TT has much more electronic controls that some are now shying away from. Looking for a "purer" experience. Thus the current desire for the 996TT.

I am not sure what you mean by this? The market says 996TT prices are on the rise.

k4 have you posted your car on Autotrader or ?? Where are the pictures of the body and interior pics. Do you have paperwork of the recent PPI? What are the date codes on your tires? Have you replaced the plugs in 4 or 5 years? If you post more details you might get the sale.
