Default Headlight Lever Inoperable

took the headlight out on my car today to replace a turn signal bulb. Upon reassembly the allen nut stripped and now I am no longer able to put the headlight back in. Anyone know how to replace the rod to put the light back in?

Is it the rod or the wrench? My wrench was worn so I bought a replacement and all is well. I believe they do sell the rod separately.

Allen nut? Isn’t it a 6 point wrench? I think 5mm 6 point socket works also. I could have sworn it was a 7mm but the wrench has 5mm on it.

When I read your comment I went to the other 996 and used the wrench from the other car. You guys were right the tool was the issue. Thanks
