Yes, it does get better: Hit and Run
Driving home from shop this morning (they fixed my hose early for those in the know). stopped at starbucks to get coffee. Came out and a guy in another truck said "that guy in that pickup just hit your car" The guy who hit me then sped off. I caught up with him and followed him to his work and than called the cops. He was ticketed with hit and run and I got his insurance info.

That sucks. Glad you caught the guy. >$2K but <$4K. Get the adjuster to replace BOTH headlights, since they won't match. Turn lemons into lemonade.

^ +1 Make sure two matching headlights are part of the claim. Color matching as well will be hit or miss on hood and bumper. Take it to a Porsche dealership. That guy needs he highest claim possible for being a douche bag.

I was following the guy with the trooper on the phone, he asked if I could get his plate. i said no problem, tapped the throttle...i had to go 100 to catch up. he was going 90 in his F150 to try to out run me i think. silly.
