Tire age specification

Yes, thanks, we are often in the news but our house never even gets smoke when the Santa Ana winds blow and the fires start up. We quite unintentionally bought a house in one of the sweet spots. The destruction was nearby for sure.......sorry about your loss however. My brother recently sold a 7,000 sq. ft. house he built in Malibu, it is gone now. Looks like a war zone around there.

Porsche recommends replacing any tire that is six years old or more (see 911 Turbo Owner's Manual, p. 195). Yep, I have a set of PS2's that are nearing the 6-year mark, and since they still have decent tread left, am wondering whether to dispose of them when the time comes and replace them with current production tires. Just curious as to how many 996TT owners follow this protocol?
Tires are the only thing that keeps your *** on the road.
