I think that depends largely on the car...
If your buying a low mile, pristine, 2005 Turbo S in a paint-to-sample color that is 100% original, you might want to keep it that way even if the mods you are thinking about are "reversible".
If your buying for example a 40K-70K mile 2001-2004 than anything fairly reversible will have little or no impact on value as long as you reverse it before sale.
Might as well make it yours assuming you haven't bought what you think is a collector car you wouldn't want to put miles on anyway... Carplay radio, tune, exhaust, suspension, tint, wheels/tires and drive the wheels off of it!
By the way, congrat's! Your going to love it! What color/year/options?

I do have to pass smog here. Will the exhausts with the 200 cell cats not pass in Denver? Obviously the best bang for the buck mod out there is the tune but I do like a throaty exhaust. If I have to take it off to pass emissions tho, I won't bother with it tho.

Will they notice and flag an aftermarket exhaust with or without cats on the visual? Not sure, might depend on the day, location, and technician.

Aftermarket exhaust are legal here, as long as they have cats. So as long as the readiness monitors are set, it should pass fine with an aftermarket exhaust. How much is a used Tubi exhaust worth?

Got it today!!!
2003 911 Turbo, 29k miles. All stock, came with two sets of wheels/tires, all service records, original window sticker and certificate of authenticity.
