Today I bought my first pcar from another rennlist member, a 2005 turbo s cab manual in seal gray! After just one day with the car, I couldn't be happier!! Although I have a lot to learn about the car, I'm glad to have fulfilled a lifelong dream!

I didn't think you were knocking his car. I do think that there is a chance that your opining that the pictures were not "proper" (your "get some proper pictures though") could make him feel bad about what he posted.
I don't have any problem with the format of his pictures. It's not like I don't know what a 996 Turbo looks like. His pictures give me a good idea of what the exterior of his car looks like, so they served their purpose on my end. At least they are oriented properly, unlike some pictures that have been posted here. And they are not over-processed, as some pictures that have been posted here are. I'd rather look at the pictures he posted than these mentioned examples.
Obviously, he is free to post as many pictures of his car as he wants, in whatever format he wants. I'm not discouraging him from doing that.
Congrats & welcome to the club! Beautiful car! I was watching it on Rennlist myself. Have an 04 996tt coupe and was trying to convince myself there was additional room in the stable. I should probably thank you for saving me/my marriage!
