Im using the reducers from AP with aluminum inserts. My shop stretched the forge line blue hoses to mate up to the Evoms 3.5 inch IC's. Then coupled that to the AP reducers , then back up to 3 " Y-pipe.
The reduction is only about 2 inches in length.

Understood. Interesting that you saw such a huge response improvement with the 3" pipe. I assumed your IC had 3" outlets and adapters were not used.

Also have IPD plenum which does not hurt.
