Default Can you look up build option codes from the vin?

Looking at buying another car but, I wanted to know if I can use the vin number to see what the build/option codes are. Mainly if it has a lsd and its a x50. I can't ask the seller directly. That is why I have this question.

That seemed to work. The option list matches what I can visually see.

Nothing is wrong with it. Why do you assume that there is?

Because its a ~14 year old used car with 87k miles. Unless there is a unicorn horn coming out of it, there's something wrong with it. That doesn't mean it wasn't a good deal, just that if I were a betting man I'd wager there are at least 1-2 things you've already noticed and plan to fix/change.

Because that's way under market value, so you got a smoking deal or there's something wrong with it.

Because it's way under market value. Check out Big Swole's 996 Turbo that he has for sale. It's a well sorted out car with +87k miles, and he is asking $38.9k.
