Im going to combine my lightweight rear sub frame install with ebwerks lightweight 996/997 .9 lbs rear wing uprights & get rid of the 15 lbs of rams, oil & hydraulic motor in the deck lid.
Save maybe 20lbs

While were shaving ounces for pennies, you can loose another ~3.5 pounds of weight at maximum rearward moment of inertia on the cheap as well... The first one was $50, for a whole 4'x8' sheet of 1/8" ABS. i guess the next 23 are free.

Rear bumperette delete.

The bumperettes weigh 3.5 lbs.? Are they filled with lead?

Why yes, aren't yours?

Removed 2 high density rubber bumperettes, two alum. support brackets, a few bolts. I was taking the weight estimate from another thread, but the parts are in the garage I'll go weigh them just to be pedantic about it.

Ditch your logo, plate frame and wash car with Dawn to remove any wax.

3 lbs, 11.2 oz. Just a bit less weight savings than changing the brace to aluminum, and farther center of rotation.
