right and left stems
compared to other cars the right and left stems by the steering wheel are "squishy" compared to crisp in other cars. say a 2006 audi s4. Is this simply a matter of age? Thanks. I am ok with it but kinda curious.

Ever since Porsche went to plastic "stems" back in late seventies/ early eighties they have always been "squishy", even when new.
