Back in the day I sent my ECU to EVOMS for their Stage II tuning, and when it came back it had their company decal on the outside of the ECU. So if someone wanted to go to the trouble to get to their ECU, and it has an EVOMS tune, then it may have the EVOMS decal on it.

What do you think of this.....
3rd or 4th gear full throttle - .7 - .8 - .9, then 1.0 for literally a second then back to .9. Does that sound like a tune? X-50 car. Tried it 3 or 4 times today on a Santa Barbara run. Thanks for any input here.

But just brushing 1 bar with X50's definitely is not what you would be seeing without any leaks and a decent tune. I hit/hold 1 bar with just a basic tune, no upgrades, and non X50 turbos.

Sounds like a stock X50 to me, no tune.

Thanks for the input, no leak test yet, definitely on the list but the "urgency factor" is pretty low so not sure when I will get to it. Between work, vehicle, toy, & marriage maintenance, time is always at a premium. I was hoping for no tune, just because it seems reasonable to assume a lower probability of abuse by former owners. No over-rev report either, but I have enough hours on her now not to be worried.

Stock x50 car will maintain 8s and 9s with peaks of 1.0. Agree sounds like a non tuned x50 car.
Keeping in mind that an x50 is essentially a factory "tuned" ecu to accomodate the larger k24's. That said, Porsche "factory" maps are understandably conservative.
After market tunes more aggressive generally speaking.
