Aftermarket exhaust?
The x50 usually came with the half circle on full circle exhaust tips...I thought it was standard (vs option).
Not necessarily. I've seen X50 cars with the std. oval exhaust tips. The half circle on full circle 'X54' exhaust tips were probably an option for all the cars?
That being said, I actually like the oval tips as the can be polished up nicely...but I recently swapped mine out for the X54s as they do look a bit more aggressive.

Reason: X51 exhaust tips are actually X54
I can't keep the X51 tips polished as the center portion just gets too hot (directly in the exhaust stream) and dis-colors. I have polished it twice and now given up.
