No problem, the hyperlink will throw you to the rennlist one which in this case pulled up an entirety diff car.

Copy paste the admin part and then manually enter vin at end. The WP with 0 not o always causes issues. Make sure it’s a zero.

How are you doing that? When I go to Porsche Admin it wants name & password.

You have to copy and past the link above and put in your VIN. Although it is still not working for me. Says car not available. May be my work firewall.

Tried that, still won't work on this machine. No worries, VINdecoderz.com is a great lookup tool.

The forum shortens inline url's, so you can't just copy/paste them.

This is the full link for your vehicle that you can copy and paste, then substitute in any vin you want (post 2002)

Thought so. Thank you for the full version, works perfectly, really fast too. Anyone know if there is a way to track dealer service records by VIN even though I have no idea where it was serviced? Purely for curiosity.

Cheers

Carfax will show you which dealer serviced the car if the dealer reported it... Most Posrche dealers do.

But there is no central Porsche database for service by VIN. Each dealer keeps their own records.

There is for Porsche warranty work performed, but most dealers won't share that information with owners. I begged my service advisor to check and learned my car's front center radiator and ignition switch had been repaired under warranty, but neither repair was disclosed on the Carfax even though the dealer that did the warranty work did report "paid" maintenance work performed to Carfax.
