Another spoiler failure light
So, I consistently get the spoiler failure message soon after the spoiler raise up approx. @ 75 mph,(10-15s) then the spoiler light. Spoiler retracts normally below 40 mph. Warning light resets after engine shutdown.
1. Rams go up and down evenly with toggle switch.
2. No visible leaks
3. Checked for errors with PST2, no errors.
4. Performed continuity test on micro switches with PST2 and VOM and removed them for visual inspection, all good!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

TOuch the bottom of the rams are they oily? Mine performed the same as yours, then a few weeks later uneven deployment so I rebled and they worked fine for like 8 months. I’d be all over rennkit erams, but the holidays have me stretched thin. Maybe tax return...

Three Wheelin'
The oil, Pentosin PS fluid, evaporates, but leaves a sheen. Either you are low on fluid in the closed system, or the top microswitch is defective. More info on failure here http://rennkit.com/why-factory-set-fails/

The fluid has probably completely dried up and possibly only one side is working the system.
I just rebled mine for the 2nd time in 7 years last weekend. One side was completely empty and the spoiler was just beginning to acting funky. There was no visible fluid outside the banjo bolts
All is good again.
